- Use Of The Symbol ® : Upon registration, the registered proprietor must start using the symbol® along with the trademark attached to the goods/services as mentioned in the Trademark Certificate.
- Lapse of a Trademark for non-use : In case a registered trademark is not used for a continuous period of 5 years from the date it is entered in the Trade Marks Register; it is liable for removal from the Trade Marks Register on grounds of non-use of the mark.
- Renewal of Trademarks : A trademark registration is perpetual in nature and it is primarily registered for a period of ten years from the date of application. Thereafter, the trademark can be renewed for a further term of ten years each, upon payment of the requisite renewal fee.
- Assignment and Licensing of Trademarks : A proprietor of a trademark has the right to assign or transmit a registered or an unregistered trademark, for a consideration with or without the goodwill of the business concerned. The same may be brought into effect by executing an Assignment/License Agreement.

The below documents are to be submitted for Trade Mark
- Duly filled Trade Mark Application form.
- 10 Copies of the Logo/Name, Catch words which you intend to register, it should be of visiting card size.
- General Power of Attorney on a Rs100/- stamp paper which will be prepared by us on which the Managing Director's�/ Proprietor's signature is required along with the Company's seal with full address and nationality.
- Supportive documents for proof of ownership of logo / name / catch words. The Constitution (e.g. Proprietorship, Partnership or Limited liability company) / Registration Certificate etc.
- Reg. Certificate of the firm and copy of the oldest advertisement if any.
- If the mark has been used in India, the date since the mark is used.
